The LCSF was thrilled to provide all school board teachers, administrators and staff with breakfast and a back to school virtual event on Friday, August 7, 2020.
"Watch Boxes" were delivered to every school and the district offices which included a bagel and pastry breakfast. Staff were provided with an email link for a virtual professional development event with Gerry Brooks, internet-famous principal based in Kentucky.
Small groups who were able to socially distance enjoyed the presentation together, while some caught the video later in the day on their own time. No matter how staff watched it, everyone agreed it was a wonderful keynote.
We can't wait to bring Gerry to Levy County in 2021!!! (Date TBD)
